My Unit
This unit will conduct research about a career of interest. From the information recieved from the research an individual career plan will be developed.

1. How do the decisions we make influence our future?

What thinking skills should I target for my classroom?
"How can projects provide opportunities for deeper thinking in my classroom?"
By doing projects students are more open to be creative and capable of incorporating many good teaching skills. To begin planning of a project the Visual Ranking Tool would be effective at clarifying ideas or you could consider using the "Seeing Reason Tool" for sharing casual maps and practicing effective questioning, or even the "Showing Evidence Tool if you are considering argumentation as you dig deeper into the research of your subject. All of the the above mentioned tools would allow for deeper thinking of just about any subject imaginable.
